Kwame Boate is a nonprofit executive with over two decades of leadership in international development, philanthropy, and organizational transformation. As Director of Resource Development and Communications at Aga Khan Foundation USA, he leads national fundraising and external engagement strategies, strengthens donor relationships, expands AKF’s visibility, and oversees communications and brand initiatives.

Kwame’s experience spans global organizations including Save the Children, CARE, TechnoServe, and HIAS, where he advanced revenue generation and strategic planning. He holds a PhD in Policy Analysis and Program Evaluation.
