• This year marks the 20th anniversary for Partnership Walk events.  We will also mark the milestone of reaching our 100th Partnership Walk this year.
• The Walk has reached 10 major US cities over the years with 8 being held this year.
• Since 1995, Partnerships In Action activities including the annual Partnership Walk and Golf events have attracted over 440,000 participants and raised over $63 million for poverty alleviation.
• Through this initiative, the Foundation and its volunteers organize events across the nation to help create a more peaceful and prosperous future for people around the world. These events inspire and inform Americans about the power of global partnerships – partnerships that transcend borders, class lines, and religious, gender and age differences.
• One of the most inspiring features of Partnership Walk is the Village in Action, where participants can enjoy interactive exhibits spotlighting the Foundation’s practical solutions for alleviating poverty from Afghanistan to Zanzibar.
• Through volunteering, awareness-raising, and contributions, people of all ages and backgrounds partner with the Foundation to advance human dignity and peace around the globe.
• We’ve come a long way from our first walk in Los Angeles 20 years ago!
